NU'EST is a boy group from Pledis Entertainment. The members are Aron, JR, Baekho, Minhyun, and Ren. Prior to debut, the members often starred in activities with labelmates After School. They debuted in 2012 with the song "Face".



Before debut, four of the members, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun, and Ren were back-up dancers for After School Blue's "Wonder Boy". Leader JR was featured on several songs and music videos prior to debut as well. In addition, the group as a whole first featured on a song through Happy Pledis' project "Love Letter".

2012: DebutEdit

In January, Pledis Entertainment began teaser pictures with each individual member's face on them. In early March, teasers for "Face" began to appear on buses and the music video was released one week later. The single, in physical format, was released March 14, 2012, and was followed by promotions on M! Countdown. NU'EST began their reality TV program, Making of a Star: NU'EST, Landing Operation, on March 19, 2012. Several weeks later, the group began promotions of the song "I'm Sorry" from the physical single "Face". Members from the group also made their catwalk fashion debut in April.


NU'EST is made up of members JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun, and Ren.
